Indications and Prescribability
For use as a supplement in the dietary management of Maple Syrup Urine Disease or other conditions requiring additional L-Valine.
Suggested Intake
The recommended dosage of L-Valine is dependent on the age, bodyweight and medical condition of the patient, and should be determined by a dietitian or doctor only.
Preparation & Administration
L-Valine can be used to supplement both sip and tube feeds. Approximately 8g L-Valine dissolves in 100mls of water at 20C. It can be added directly to liquid formula. For powdered formulae, L-Valine is best added to the powder before reconstitution.
Precautions
Must only be used under strict medical supervision. Not intended for use as the sole source of nutrition. Not for parenteral use.

Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, use within one month.
