Indications and Prescribability
For use as a supplement in the dietary management of Maple Syrup Urine Disease (MSUD), or other conditions requiring L-Leucine.
Suggested Intake
The recommended dosage of L-Leucine is dependent on the age, bodyweight and medical condition of the patient, and should be determined by a dietitian or doctor only.
Preparation & Administration
L-Leucine can be used to supplement both sip and tube feeds. Approximately 2g L-Leucine dissolves in 100mls of water at 20C. It can be added directly to liquid formulae. For powdered formulae, L-Leucine is best added to the powder before reconstitution.
Precautions
Must only be used under strict medical supervision. Not intended for use as the sole source of nutrition. Not for parenteral use.

Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, use within one month.
